My shins were hurting a lot yesterday so I kept it low-impact with some Nike Training Club. I did a 30 min intermediate cardio routine called “The Shredder” with some adjustments (burpees? oh hell no). Then I did the 15 min Jeanette Jenkins Ab Blast routine which was a reward for completing 240 mins total.
I always sweat more doing those routines than practically any other workout (except maybe swimming? who knows) even when I adjust them so I can catch my breath. If you’re breathing hard while you’re at rest you are still expending energy, that’s why its important not to take breaks for too long, gotta keep that heart rate up consistently.
